25 Keto Recipes for Easter

Keto Recipes > Keto Recipe Roundups

Easter is right around the corner, and we’ve rounded up our best keto recipes that are perfect for this spring holiday!  This selection of recipes includes breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, and even appetizer options.  I tried to select options that are reminiscent of traditional Easter table dishes.  You’ll recognize the green beans, deviled eggs, and faux potato salad.

This is perfect if you’re looking to build a completely keto Easter menu, or just want to find something good to bring to your family gathering.

1. Ham & Cheese Keto Stromboli

Ham and Cheese Keto Stromboli

Melty cheddar cheese and ham are braided up in a tasty cheese based pastry.  You can think of this as a very large savory danish that you can slice up and easily serve to people as an appetizer that they can pick through. Cut it up into small slices and let them take as they please. Alternatively, you can slice into 4 large pieces and serve as a meal with some roasted broccoli and butter or more traditionally Italian Style Green beans or pan fried asparagus.

2. Loaded Cauliflower Salad

Loaded Cauliflower Salad
Potato salad is a staple of the American holiday table, so of course we have to include this keto version. In this potato salad recipe, we switch out the potatoes for cauliflower and sub out the sugar for a low carb sweetener.  You won’t even miss the potatoes!

3. Low Carb Strawberry Shortcake

All in all, if you’re looking to impress someone, this would be a fantastic dessert. It takes a little time to put together, but the effort pays off tenfold in the end. The cake is slightly dry and crumbly, like I would expect with a traditional strawberry shortcake. The cream and jam, though, add that moist texture that you oh so need in a cakey dessert. The whipped cream finishes is all up with a rich, delicious, and airy texture that is just sublime.

4. Instant Pot Deviled Egg Salad

This recipe will show you how to quickly hard boil a ton of eggs in your Instant Pot, then chop it all up. No peeling necessary! It can’t possibly get any easier than this.  This deviled egg salad is otherwise fairly simple. It’s tossed with all the good stuff like crispy bacon, smoky paprika, a dab of mustard, and mayo.

5. Keto Pound Cake

Keto Pound Cake
The texture of this pound cake is very dense and rich. I don’t doubt that you’d be able to easily fool someone who is not following a keto diet plan. It tastes just like a flour based pound cake. It’s sweet enough without being overly sweet.

6. Vegetarian Keto Club Salad

Vegetarian Keto Club Salad

Yes, it’s different from a traditional club sandwich or even a club salad, but the flavors will have you happily munching on vegetables without missing the bread or the meat! The makings of a satisfying salad come with a few integral parts: the crunch factor, the creamy and savory dressing, and the kick. This salad is loaded with crisp romaine lettuce and cucumber and balanced with cheddar cheese cubes, hardboiled egg and a creamy mayonnaise based dressing. Then, the spicy kick of Dijon mustard brings this salad together in an explosion of flavor.

7. Toasted Coconut Lemon Squares

Traditional lemon squares are gooey and tangy and guaranteed to make a mess of your fingers. This spin on an old classic combines the bite of a lemon with a dairy free, egg based, custard style filling which is topped with crispy toasted coconut chips and packed with protein. The creamier, heavy filling keeps the lemon coconut crust from getting too soggy and flimsy. Win-win!

8. Spinach Onion and Goat Cheese Omelette

I thought that you guys might enjoy a delicious and simple omlette made of goats cheese, spinach, and onions. The goats cheese brings a fantastic tartness to the entire omelette, while the onions cut through that tartness to balance out the flavors with a sweet, delicious ending. The spring onions, while not necessary, bring a great tanginess and fresh feel to the entire dish, playing off the earthy flavors of the spinach. All together, each bite is a wonderful mixture of both textures (crunch, smooth, and cheesy) and flavors.

9. Pesto Stuffed Mushrooms

I know you’ll love these delicious, creamy, little low carb treats wrapped in bacon. Creamy pesto stuffed mushrooms wrapped in streaky bacon were such a hit with the entire family. They are so simple to make, I just wish I had tried this earlier.

10. Breakfast Cauliflower Waffles

These breakfast cauliflower waffles are perfectly crisp and all the different flavors of cheeses come through with each and every bite. These are also pretty “oops” proof – you can put them in the pan and forget them for a bit, and they’ll still turn out great – even after leaving them in for 10+ minutes, I’ve never had a problem with them sticking.  It really helps to have a belgian waffle maker that can flip because it helps distribute the heat evenly and cook it throughly when its upside down.

11. Asparagus Fries with Red Pepper Aioli

Asparagus Fries with Red Pepper Aioli

These babies are crispy and cheesy on the outside, but still easy enough to bite into. Fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese add a tangy, bright, dimension that is given a little body with smoked paprika.  I love to make a fake aioli to dip these in by using jarred roasted red peppers and mayonnaise. This is a creamy sauce that will stand up to any fry for dipping! You could put the two ingredients in a food processor to make a smooth aioli or just finely chop the peppers and stir them in the mayo for a more textured dip.

12. Pimento Cheese Dip

Pimento Cheese Dip

I have a new found love for sweet chilli peppers such as pimento (also known as cherry peppers). They are sweet, spicy, and best yet only 2 carbs per pepper! I recently tried pimento cheese on a burger and I figured…it was time to make it into a dip!  This recipe only has 4 ingredients and is incredibly easy to make.

13. Keto Ham and Cheese Bake

This is a homey and satisfying ham and cheese bake that is sure to comfort you and fill you up! The best part about this dish is the ability to experiment with different cheeses to spice things up and change the overall flavor!  Make sure you use pre-cooked ham.  This is an excellent way to use up leftovers from Easter!

14. Vegetarian Loaded Zucchini Skins

Vegetarian Loaded Zucchini Skins

One of my all-time favorite appetizers has always been loaded potato skins. I still get cravings for that combination of cheese, sour cream and bacon. This appetizer just happens to be vegetarian.  These zucchini skins are loaded with cheese, sour cream, and smokey seasoned mushroom bits.

15. Lemon Cupcakes with Raspberry Frosting

Lemon Cupcakes with Raspberry Frosting

These lemon cupcakes are like summer in your mouth! Bursting with fresh and tangy lemon flavor, these eye-catching treats are topped with elegant swirls of sweet raspberry cream cheese frosting. The fitting combination makes for a heavenly summer dessert fit for any occasion. These tantalizing cupcakes are so light and flavorful that no one will guess that they’re ketogenic!

16. BBQ Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Easy entertaining and keto usually don’t go hand in hand. But, these are so easy and straightforward to make that they will be a new go-to when you’re in a pinch and need a quick appetizer. For their small size, they’re really sweet, smokey, and packed full of flavor. These BBQ Bacon Wrapped Smokies be a new crowd favorite!

17. Herbed Roast Chicken with Brussels Sprouts

Herbed Roast Chicken with Brussels Sprouts
Here’s a buttery roasted chicken dinner that you can put together with ease. First I’ll show you how to get your bird trussed for roasting, then we’ll give the chicken a nice butter massage. We’ll use fresh herbs like oregano and thyme, as well as dried marjoram and parsley, to infuse the meat with flavor. Then, before the last stretch of the roasting process, we’ll throw some Brussels sprouts into pan as well. It’s a one pan meal!

18. Bacon, Red Pepper, and Mozzarella Frittata

I can’t take full credit for this recipe, Gordon Ramsey definitely gave me inspiration with his bacon, red pepper, pea, and spring onion frittata. But, he didn’t add enough fats for me so I manipulated the recipe a bit to allow for more fats (mushrooms help out with the absorption of those) to create an absolutely delicious breakfast or brunch for you to share and enjoy!

19. Bacon Jammin’ Green Beans

Green beans are one of my favorite things to eat when they’re fresh, and I just don’t eat enough of them. When I get them, I almost always pair them with bacon. Yeah, sure, they’re awesome with garlic and Parmesan, but who can resist the bacon?

20. Ham Cheddar Chive Souffle

These little souffle’s are perfect for single serve breakfasts for everyone – packed full of fresh and delicious flavors, and savory meat to keep the fat up and the protein levels down. Normally I just gobble down some coffee to start the day, but there’s always those occasions when I’m looking for a little bit more. This really fits the bill!

21. Salted Toffee Nut Cups

These toffee nut cups will satisfy your need for sweet, salty, creamy and crunchy all in one! Some of the butter from the toffee always seeps out into the chocolate making it even more of a melt-in-your-mouth treat. Literally!

22. Easy Keto Strawberry Shortcakes

The keto cloud bread does perfect with this easy shortcake recipe. Instead of using the traditional biscuit or croissant pre-made dough to make the shortcake portion, these light and fluffy cakes are a great complement with the acidic strawberries and rich whipped cream. They are so light and fluffy, it’s almost having a keto angel food cake sandwiching the delicious filling.

23. Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Garlic Aioli

Bacon wrapped asparagus is something that you can serve up to guests (or yourself) and feel good about it. The bitter and distinct, yet delicious, flavors of the asparagus paired with the rich and hearty bacon come together to form a fantastic combination. Pair that with a smooth and thick garlic aioli to top it all off and you have a winner on your hands. I’ve never been much of a fan of asparagus, but cooked right and wrapped in bacon – I will eat it any day!

24. Creamy Keto “Potato” Salad

Creamy Keto "Potato" Salad

The beauty about swapping out the starchy root vegetable for cauliflower florets is in the cooking and prep time. No more peeling and boiling potatoes that need time to cool and rest before you’ve found that you have over or under cooked them. Cauliflower is a three minute cook process, just enough to soften slightly, and it cools quickly so you can go from raw ingredients to creamy keto “potato” salad in no time.

25. Spicy Bacon Deviled Eggs

Spiced Bacon Deviled Eggs

The moment you put them in your mouth, the rosemary hits you – filling your mouth with an herbaceous aroma and taste. As you chew, the dijon and bacon comes through, refreshing your entire palette. The egg whites start to overpower it all, bringing a nice cooling feeling, and it finishes off with a heat from the cayenne.
