I’ve had quite the love of jalapeno poppers over the last few months, and I wanted a super simple way to get my favorite flavors of a jalapeno popper in the form of a quick snack. These little jalapeno popper fat bombs can pretty much be carried anywhere, and snacked on as needed to bring your fats up throughout the day.
The flavor of these are exactly what you’d expect – a bit spicy (add jalapeno seeds inside if you want more spiciness), very creamy and rich, and packed full of bacon flavor. You can easily make them ahead and throw them in a plastic bag or plastic container to bring with you practically anywhere, too.
Coming in at over 85% calories from fats, these Jalapeno Popper Fat Bombs are a super simple way to incorperate fats into your diet. They have very little carbs and very little protein in comparison. If you’re new to the world of fat bombs and are needing to find different ways you can incorperate a lot of fat into your diet easily, then check out my other recipes that are out there!

Pickled jalapeno slices might be even better than raw jalapenos.
They may be, I didn’t try them out. I’d suggest using a pinch of cayenne pepper to get some heat in there if you do.
Oh, well, I live in New Mexico. The pickled ones are very spicy hot, too. 😉
Ah, that explains it. The ones where I live are wimpy 😛
If you’re worried about texture, don’t too much. I chopped my jalapenos fairly fine so I didn’t have the “crunch” which I wouldn’t have wanted in these, personally. I could taste the flavor but otherwise didn’t feel anything like uncooked peppers in there.
I bet this would be good with pickled jalapenos, too!
Definitely, it would add some more acidity to it!
Craig, I just made these for a hasty, last-minute dinner.
I was kind of skeptical… I like jalapeno poppers, and of course bacon, but thought it might be one of “those” fat bombs that were “meh” and I’d only be eating because I wanted something heavy on the fat macros.
Not so. Very creamy, not overly spicy, and just really a delight to nom on. I could only eat one at a time, they were so filling (lunch tomorrow, yay!).
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome to hear – thanks for all the compliments! 🙂
I would guess 1-2 days at the most. I think after that you’ll start seeing the bacon soften up. You could cook it very crispy and keep the bacon on the side (while still incorporating the fat). Microwave the bacon for 20-30 seconds and it will crisp back up quickly.
Glad to hear it and I’m really sorry for the late reply. I was in the middle of 2 cross country moves.
When I printed this, the recipe was superimposed on the photo and illegible. Wasted a ton of ink on the photo as well.
I’m very sorry about that. I’m going to look into why this recipe in particular has a problem.
These were almost too good! I TRIED to have one per day but I ate 2 in close succession and then exercised self discipline for the last 1…Knowing the last one was in the fridge was never far from thought! The cream cheese filling will also be amazing scooped directly into a jalapeño! 10/10
