very yummy!!! I also tried this with asparagus gotta admit it was a little addicting, gonna try this with broccoli next 😀
Yum! I have to admit that I’m starting to love asparagus more and more 🙂
I made this with a bit of sautéed onion, bacon crumbles and sesame seeds. Delish! My best girlfriend and fellow keto-er discuss your site and its recipes on a regular basis. Our common holy grail on here is the pizza base. My boyfriend even said it was nicer than a regular one. 😀 Win! What is your opinion on those glucomannan “noodles”? Just curious. 😀
Been following your page for a few days and love it and have incorporated the keto meal plan into my quest overall quest to be healthier. What’s a typical serving size either in grams/ounces consist of since I weigh my food. I appreciate your response and look forward to hearing back from you.
Hey Enrique – really glad to hear it. I’m honestly not sure what the gram/oz weight of the food is. I typically eyeball my servings based on hunger nowadays. You can weight the full amount when it’s finished and divide out servings based on weight as well for tracking macros to make things easier.
What is a cup of spinach? That is very subjective. How big of a bag do you use? How much does it weigh?
Hey Greg – sorry for the late reply. Typically when I say a cup of spinach, in weight it will be 1 oz. worth.
I used one 8oz bag of spinach and followed the recipe and it turned out amazing. The 7 cups threw me off since that’d be seven 8oz bags.
I strongly recommend replacing the cheddar with cream cheese.
With the cheddar it ends up very, very separated and oily and you can’t taste the spinach or really anything but the cheddar. With about 100g/3.5oz of cream cheese it’s a thick creamy consistency and you can taste the spinach.
I used two bags of frozen spinach. Each had three and a half cups. Turned out perfect.
Made this today…. So darn easy and so darn cheezy. Felt like comfort food to me. Reminded me of having Kraft Mac and Cheese (which I haven’t had in several years). Getting back into ketosis and this seems like the perfect macro’s to help get me back in.
Glad you enjoyed it, Jason!
