Keto Chorizo and Creamed Cabbage

Keto Dinner Recipes > Keto Dinner Recipes

Chorizo is a spicy sausage consisting mainly of pork and paprika seasoning. I enjoy chorizo by itself, but in this recipe we paired it with a lemony garlic creamed cabbage and it pairs wonderfully!

Chorizo goes good with a lot of other sides as well, like mixed greens, cauliflower hash, and more. The creamed cabbage I made soaks in all the flavors of heavy cream then is topped with lemon zest and minced garlic.

this was a great dinner. i’ve since jumped off the keto diet since i felt it wasn’t for me but i still enjoy some of the foods and this was a great addition to my meal rotation.

I made this tonight and it was delicious! I do doubt the nutritional breakdown, though. It seems to be too high in calories and came out to about 586 calories when I put it through a recipe calculator. Can you please check?

    • It’s very possible that we just used different brands of chorizo and yours was lower in fat and higher in protein than ours. Everything else in the nutrition looks correct to me but the chorizo makes up a big bulk of the ingredients so it’s likely going to be that causing the changes in your macros vs mine.
