This is fantastic, thank you!! I used to have a big cup of hot chocolate every morning so it was hard for me to cut that out completely. I tried a couple “low carb hot chocolate” recipes before this one, but none were very good. But this is actually fantastic!!!

  2. Marusia Ramirez says

My husband and I LOVE this Hot Cocoa!

  3. I made this with swerve sweetener tonight and it was terribly bitter and just plain awful. Not sure why?

  4. I tried this with the same coconut milk and coco powder. other ingredients are the same except different brand, but it came out really bitter , any suggestions?

  5. Can I use this hot chocolate in place of the keto proof coffee

  6. Tabatha Jo Sisson says

Not sure where you got the calorie info for the coconut milk because I use that exact same kind and it’s only 50cal per cup

    • If there are more calories in our coconut milk, it usually means it’s from a can. The carton coconut milk is much more watery, and comes in at 45 calories per cup.

      • Tabatha Jo Sisson says

Yes I understand that but per her picture of the ingredients she is using it can be misleading. She’s using the So Delicious brand which comes in at 45 cal per cup not any can brand.

        • I’ll get the table fixed today – when I went through to update it I think I selected canned milk vs. boxed milk. Most of the recipes specify boxed milk in the ingredient list itself. (Usually I’m working on 10+ tables at a time.)

These aren’t actually my pictures, this was posted a long time before I started working here. 🙂

  7. Will this hold up sitting on the stove with a little heat under it to stay hot for a whole evening? I’m having a holiday party and want to serve this so I can enjoy a little keto indulgence 😊 I’ll also be tripling the recipe….do you think that it will hold up until these circumstances?

  8. Faith Piper says

As someone who loves hot chocolate and does not like coffee, why must coffee be added? Are there any alterations needed to this recipe to leave the coffee out?!
