  • 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro, chopped, optional topping

The Execution

1. Gather all ingredients. Begin by making guacamole. To a bowl, add the avocado, onion, jalapeno, salsa, and lime juice. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Mash it up with a fork, leaving it somewhat chunky. Set aside.

2. Heat a pan over medium heat. While pan is heating, shape patties out of the sausage meat. When pan is ready, add half the butter. Once the butter has melted, place patties in the pan and cook until they are browned and halfway cooked (about 3 minutes). Turn the patties and cook until completely cooked (2-3 more minutes).
