Ingredients
  

  • 5 ounce queso blanco
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 ounce green olive
  • teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Cut the cheese into cubes and place them in the freezer.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the cheese cubes to the pan once hot and allow them to partially melt at the bottom. (Okay, this is the part where I got a little angry when I was putting this together.)
  • Flip the cubes of cheese with a spatula to brown them as much as possible. Press down on it with the spatula and make sure it all combines together.
  • Continue cooking the cheese, flipping half of the cheese over onto itself.
  • Continue pressing the cheese down, getting rid of any excess oil.
  • Continue flipping and cooking the cheese in this manner until a nice crust is formed.
  • Using another spatula, fork, or knife, form a block with the melting cheese and seal off all the edges.
  • Remove from the pan and let cool slightly.
  • Use a knife to cut the cheese into cubes. It should be warm and still gooey in the middle.
  • Serve with olives and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
